Is Social Security Viable?
There is a large concern by many people, and we get the question all the time about whether the program will be viable in the long run. The short answer is that we don’t know. The program is on a trajectory to be without adequate funds by 2028 unless changes are made. There are dozens of proposals to change aspects of the program and ‘most’ will have little effect on the vast majority of us. The majority of the changes recommended will affect out children and grandchildren more than us. We will be watching this closely and pass along to all of you when we even see proposals under consideration.
